Illusion of Gaia has some of the best game music ever composed. It's not THE best, but it is pretty up there. I'm guessing you either can't tell the difference between brilliantly composed music, or you have only listened to one or two songs. The track used when fighting the final monster on the comet is one of the best pieces I have ever heard used in a video game.
Are you going to try and tell me that Castlevania: Symphony of the Night has sub-par music as well? Please.
