VGMe was started in the fall of 2006 as a way for me to share my own enjoyment of video game music with those who may not have been exposed to it. It was only me writing back then, trying to post when I could. Since then, VGMe has gone through many versions, all templates, until arriving at the current look. I decided to go away from the templated past so that I could establish VGMe as its own entity, not simply another blog working off of another’s idea.
Now-a-days, VGMe is dedicated to top-quality posts covering not only the recent world of gaming but interesting new takes and opinions and all things related to games and the music that enhances (or detracts from) them. The musical aspect of the posts has also grown and taken on its own distinct identity. With album art, descriptions, and reviews (in the future), the bread and butter of VGMe is still shining through brightly.
VGMe has been a labor of love and I look forward to seeing where it takes me and the other authors along the way.
